• This service pack cannot be uninstalled. Before installing Service Pack 1 for Windows SBS, we strongly recommend that you perform a complete backup of your existing Windows SBS installation. To successfully install Windows Small Business Server 2003 Service Pack 1, you must install all five updates listed in these instructions. Additionally, the updates must be installed in the sequence listed. To install each update, click the corresponding link on the Setup page, and then follow the instructions on the screen.

Restart the computer when you are prompted to do so.

Notes

• To install these updates, you must be logged on as an Administrator or as a member of the Domain Admins security group.
  
  
• If one or more of the listed updates is already installed, you can skip to the next step.
  
  
• It can take up to two hours to install these updates completely. Because your input is required during the installation process, be sure to schedule enough time to complete all of the steps. If you are performing other tasks while Setup is running, be sure to check back often to determine whether your input is needed.
