Using Visual FoxPro Data in Access 2000 Click here to email this to a friend.

You need to use data from your Microsoft Visual FoxPro® database in Microsoft Access 2000. So you try to link the tables from Visual FoxPro to Access, only to discover that the built-in driver for Visual FoxPro is no longer available. Don't panic! Using Visual FoxPro data in Access 2000 is now a two-step process:

1.      Set up the data source for Visual FoxPro.

2.      Link the Visual FoxPro tables from Access.
