and formats it into a packet for offline reading. QWK, Simple
Offline Usenet Packet (SOUP), and ZipNews packet formats are supported.
Uqwk also accepts reply packets, so replies can be mailed or posted,
depending whether the message is marked private (email) or public (news).
Uqwk also supports a small offline command language, so the contents
of the user's .newsrc file can be viewed and manipulated offline.

Yarn/2 Inbox/Folder Checker
This is a program designed primarily to quickly scan your Yarn
"inbox" folder and give you a summary of what is there. You can use the program to give you a tally of any Yarn
folder by specifying the folder name on the command line. If you
do not specify a folder name then "inbox" is used.
Optionally, you can display the basic header information (Date/
From/Subject) for the New/Unread/All messages, or All messages.
Optionally, you can display display the whole message for the
New/Unread messages, or All messages, in the folder. This can
be useful if you want to take a quick read of new messages,
to see what is in them, without starting up Yarn. The message
is simply scrolled to the screen-- nothing fancy. When viewing
messages in preview mode "paging" mode is set on by default.
