NIFMON.EXE is a very simple TPC/IP network interface monitor. It displays the interface name, description, speed in bits per second, bytes received, bytes sent, average bytes per second total throughput and max average bytes per second. The user can select interface and interval when invoking the program from the command line. Valid interfaces are lan0 - lan9 and sl0 to sl9. The "lanx" names are for TCP/IP lan interfaces and the "slx" names are for TCP/IP serial interfaces. The interval determines how many seconds elapse between checks of the interface. If no parameters are specified, sl0 will be checked every second.
