Internet Explorer Administration Kit AVS Update
The Internet Explorer Administration Kit 5.5 AVS Update is the latest version of Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) 5.5. It replaces any version of IEAK currently on your system. The Automatic Version Synchronization (AVS) feature has been redesigned. Now you can use the Internet Explorer Customization wizard to obtain updated components, like new releases of MSN® Messenger. You can then easily integrate these updated components into your Windows Update Setup package.

The current release of IEAK 5.5 AVS Update will update the following components using the Internet Explorer Customization wizard:
- MSN Messenger Service
MSN Messenger Service now includes great new features for your customers. They can
enjoy voice chat, sending files, and support for emoticons. They can also send
instant messages to pagers, call friends on their home or cell phones, or share
their favorite music, all directly from their computers.

- Internet Explorer 5.5 and Internet Tools must be installed.

You don't need to do anything after installing this item.
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click
Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Click Internet Explorer Administration Kit 5.5.
- Click Add/Remove (Change/Remove in Windows 2000).
