Windows Movie Maker 2
Windows® Movie Maker 2 is an update to previous versions of Windows Movie Maker. New features such as a new user interface, wizards, transitions, effects, titles, and AutoMovie make creating home movies easier. Windows Movie Maker 2 also takes advantage of the latest Windows Media® 9 Series audio and video codecs.

This update applies to Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP Professional.
For best performance, this update is recommended only for computers that meet or exceed the following configuration:

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition or Windows XP Professional

A 600 megahertz (MHz) processor, such as an Intel Pentium III, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Athlon, or equivalent processor

128 megabytes (MB) of RAM

2 gigabytes (GB) of free hard disk space

An audio capture device (to capture audio from external sources)

A DV or analog video capture device (to capture video from external sources)

An Internet connection (to save and send a movie to the Web or to send a movie as an attachment in an e-mail message)
You may have to restart your computer to complete the installation.
To start Windows Movie Maker after installing this update, on the Start menu, point to All Programs, and then click Windows Movie Maker.
This update cannot be removed after installation.
