Security Update, December 17, 2001

This update resolves "The Unchecked Buffer in Universal Plug and Play can Lead to System Compromise" security vulnerability in Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me) if the Universal Plug and Play service is installed. Download now to help prevent a malicious user from compromising your computer or using your computer to compromise another computers functionality.

This updates the Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) component in Windows Me to comply with the UPnP 1.0 specification, which improves the stability, performance, and security of your UPnP component.
