Microsoft Virtual Machine
You have probably heard a lot about Java and all the cool things it can do on the Web. The Microsoft virtual machine (Microsoft VM) is what you need to be able to see and interact with all those cool Java applets. It's a special place for the applets to run where they won't interfere with the rest of your system.
Note This is an updated version of Microsoft VM.
This applies to computers running Windows 9X, Windows NT ® 4.0, Windows Millennium Edition, or Windows XP with versions of Internet explorer no earlier than Internet Explorer 4.01.
Note Windows NT 4.0 users must be running Service Pack 3 or later.
- On the Product Updates page, check the box next to Microsoft Virtual Machine.
- Click the Download button at the top of the page.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
You don't need to do anything after installing this item.
Uninstall is not available for this component.
