This update is a cumulative update for Windows NT® 4.0 that includes every security fix that has been released for Windows NT 4.0 since the release of Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6a (SP6a). Download now to get the latest security updates in one cumulative package. If you are running a Compaq Smart Array controller, this package might not be compatible with your computer. Compaq Array Controller Users: If you installed the Compaq Array Controller Driver (CPQARRAY.SYS) from the Compaq Web site, Compaq FTP Web site, or Compaq SmartStart, read Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) Article Q305228 before you install the Windows NT 4.0 Security Rollup Package (SRP), for more information about Compaq Array Controllers and the SRP.

How to use

Restart your computer to complete the installation.

How to uninstall

Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
Select Windows NT 4.0 Hotfix [See Q299444 for more information], and then click Add/Remove to uninstall.
