SCSI Bus Reset Update


This update resolves the "Windows 2000 SP2 Causes SCSI Bus Resets During Startup" issue on computers running Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (SP2), and is discussed in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) Article Q297961. Download now to prevent a delay in restarting computers that have an NCR Storage Cabinet (NSC) array attached.

Note This is an updated version of the SCSI Bus Reset Update.

This issue exists because the disk.sys file does not communicate properly with certain SCSI devices.

How to use
Restart your computer to complete the installation.

How to uninstall
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Select Windows 2000 Hotfix (Pre SP3) [See Q297961 for more information], and then click Change/Remove to uninstall.
