The updated Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 Support Tools (support.cab) helps support personnel and network administrators to manage networks and troubleshoot problems. For descriptions of the tools and examples of how they are used, read "Windows 2000 Support Tools" (W2rksupp.chm). This help file is included in the support.cab file.

Note If you have previously installed Windows 2000 Support Tools, you do not need to download the entire Windows 2000 SP2 Support Tools package. For more information about upgrading your tools, see the Windows 2000 Support Tools Patch Web page.

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
3. Select Windows 2000 Hotfix [See Q292003 for more information], and then click Change/Remove.
