Security Update, December 22, 2000 (Terminal Server Edition)

This update eliminates the "Registry Permissions" vulnerabilities in Windows NT® 4.0 Terminal Server Edition, and is discussed in Microsoft Security Bulletin MS00-095. Download now to ensure that the default permissions for your registry keys are set to appropriate levels.

The current default permissions in certain registry keys are set to levels that are inappropriately permissive, which could allow a malicious user to gain unauthorized access to the network devices on an affected computer. This update eliminates three security vulnerabilities in Windows NT 4.0 by resetting the default permission values to appropriate levels.
