Web Publishing Wizard 1.6
The Microsoft Web Publishing Wizard offers experienced users an easy way to post their own Web sites to a server. The wizard automates the process of copying files from your computer to the Web server; just follow the step-by-step instructions, and the wizard does the rest.
You can use Web Publishing Wizard to post to Internet service providers (ISPs), Microsoft's Internet Information Server, and intranet servers on your local area network (LAN).
Note: This is an updated version of Web Publishing Wizard 1.6.
This update applies to:
- Windows 95
- Windows 98
- Windows NT® 4.0 running at least Service Pack 3
- Build your Web page.
- Determine where to publish your Web page. If you want to publish on the World Wide Web, you should contact your ISP. If you are publishing on a local intranet, ask your system administrator.
- To open the Web Publishing Wizard, click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to Internet Tools, and then click Microsoft Web Publishing Wizard 1.6.
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Select Web Publishing Wizard, and then click Change/Remove to uninstall.
