This update resolves three vulnerabilities in Windows 2000 with Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server, and is discussed in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) Article Q275286. The vulnerabilities are related to the traffic control provided by the Quality of Service (QoS) Packet Scheduler service, which monitors the filter and flow of Internet Protocol (IP) network packets that travel through a Windows 2000 server. In addition, the update addresses an error in the time-interval parameter for connections made through a Microsoft proxy server, which could result in a large number of open sockets. Download now to ensure that your Windows 2000 ISA server is able to use the QoS Packet Scheduler service to provide the necessary traffic control of IP packets, and to minimize the number of open sockets in your firewall system.

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
3. Select Windows 2000 Hotfix (Pre-SP2) [See Q275286 for more information], and then click Change/Remove to uninstall.
