This update resolves the "Toshiba PC Card Controller May Power 3.3-Volt R2 PC Card at 5 Volts" issue in Windows 2000. Download now to ensure your computer can handle both 3.3-volt and 5.0-volt PC Cards appropriately.
In some Toshiba laptops, the Toshiba PC Card controller (ToPIC) might incorrectly power 3.3-volt R2 PC Cards at 5 volts. This problem occurs because the driver for the Windows 2000 PC Card bus does not handle the voltage levels for these R2 PC Cards correctly.
Note This is an updated version of the PC Card Bus Voltage Level Update.
