Internet Explorer Error Reporting
Download and use the Internet Explorer Error Reporting, and contribute to the development of Internet Explorer browser technology. With Error Reporting installed, if a critical error occurs, you will see a dialog box that gives you the opportunity to report the problem to Microsoft. If an update or workaround is available for the error you have reported, you are directed to the appropriate Web site to download the update or view instructions for the workaround.
This update applies to Internet Explorer 5.0 or later.
If you encounter a critical error, such as application faults or illegal operations, you are given the option to see the error in a data report. You can either view the data yourself by clicking on the Technical Information link, report the error to Microsoft, or close the dialog box and continue browsing.
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Select Internet Explorer Error Reporting.
- Click Add/Remove.
Restart your computer to complete the uninstall.
