Web Publishing Wizard 1.6
Microsoft Web Publishing Wizard gives experienced users an easy way to post their own Web sites to a server. The wizard automates the process of copying files from your computer to the Web serverjust follow the step-by-step instructions, and the wizard does the rest.
You can use Web Publishing Wizard to post to Internet service providers (ISPs), Microsoft's Internet Information Server, and intranet servers on your local area network (LAN).
Note This is an updated version of Web Publishing Wizard 1.6.
This update applies if you are running a version of Internet Explorer no earlier than version 5 on one of the following operating systems:
- Windows NT®
- Windows 98
- Windows 95
- Build some Web pages.
- Find out where to publish your pages. If you want to publish on the World Wide Web, you should contact your ISP. If you are publishing on a local intranet, ask your system administrator.
- Once you have this information, open Web Publishing Wizard by clicking the Start button, pointing to Programs, pointing to Accessories, pointing to Internet Tools, and then clicking Web Publishing.
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Select Web Publishing Wizard 1.6.
- Click Add/Remove.
