This update addresses the "Correct Password Not Set on Services for NetWare Version 5" issue in Windows 2000, and is discussed in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) Article Q258764. When you use the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) on a computer running File and Print Services for NetWare (FPNW) to configure a user account with the NetWare-compatible logon option enabled, you might not be able to use an existing password to log on to a server running the NetWare operating system. Installing this update allows you to log on to the NetWare server without incident.
