1. Known Issues

1.1 Installation Issues on Visual Basic Express Edition 2005 and
Visual Basic Express Edition 2008

When installing the Visual Basic 2005 Power Packs 3.0 onto a machine with Visual Basic Express Edition 2005 or Visual Basic Express Edition 2008, the controls are not automatically added to the toolbox.

To add the PrintForm component, Line and Shape controls and DataRepeater control to the Toolbox

1) On the File menu, choose New Project.

2) In the New Project dialog box, select Windows Application, and then click OK.

3) Right Click on the Toolbox and select Add Tab

4) Type Visual Basic Power Packs 3.0 as the Tab Name

5) On the Tools menu, select Choose Toolbox Items.

6) In the Choose Toolbox Items dialog box, select PrintForm, LineShape, RectangleShape, OvalShape and DataRepeater from the .NET Framework Components list and check the checkbox next to it.

7) Click OK to add it to the Toolbox.
